Where It All Began
Sereclean was founded by a dentist who saw the same problem again and again in their practice: patients struggling to keep their clear aligners clean. Most had no idea what products to use, and the options available were either not designed for delicate dental appliances, risking scratches and defects, or came with an unnecessary high price tag.
Out of necessity, the Sereclean Pod was born. An affordable, professional-grade ultrasonic cleaner, tailored specifically for aligners, retainers, mouthguards, dentures, and other removable dental appliances. Its mission was simple: make dental hygiene effortless, safe, and accessible to everyone.
But the vision didn’t stop there. Through years of treating dental trauma, especially in children and teenagers, it became clear that many of these injuries could have been prevented with the right protection. Boil-and-bite mouthguards offered limited defence, and while custom-made dental mouthguards provided superior safety, they were often out of reach for many families.
That’s when Sereclean ProGuard was developed. A custom-fit, dentist-designed mouthguards made accessible for schools, sports clubs, and elite athletes. ProGuard bridges the gap between affordability, protection, and professional quality, giving every athlete the confidence to play without compromise.

Our Founder’s Story
Dr. Sarah Mpi, CEO & Founder of Sereclean®, is a highly respected cosmetic dentist with extensive experience in NHS and private practice. A graduate of the University of Liverpool, Dr. Mpi has always been passionate about creating innovative solutions that make oral care more accessible and convenient.
Through her work in dentistry and clear aligner therapy, she recognized the daily struggles people face when cleaning removable dental appliances such as retainers, aligners, and dentures. This inspired the creation of Sereclean®, a brand dedicated to providing affordable, effective, and easy-to-use oral care products designed for modern lifestyles.
Beyond oral hygiene solutions, Dr. Mpi and her team also specialize in precision-fit sports mouthguards for elite athletes and sports clubs. Using advanced intraoral scanning technology, these mouthguards enhance dental protection, breathability, and performance, serving professional boxers and national rugby teams across the globe.

Ultrasonic cleaning has been a trusted process for decades in industries from healthcare to jewellery. It works by generating high-frequency sound waves, 42,000 Hz in the Sereclean Pod that create microscopic cavitation bubbles in water. As these bubbles collapse, they gently but powerfully dislodge debris, bacteria, and plaque from even the smallest crevices.
While ultrasonic cleaning is widely used, our technology is specifically adapted for delicate dental appliances. Internal temperature control systems protect against overheating, and our components are engineered for long-term reliability. We use the Medit i600 scanner, known for its lightning-fast data capture, ergonomic design, and exceptional accuracy. The scanner produces a 3D digital model of your teeth with unmatched precision, ensuring every ProGuard mouthguard fits perfectly for maximum protection and comfort.
